Ari Erle, founder of Israel Wine Company and International Winemaking Consultant, aims to bring the very best of the Israeli wine industry to wine lovers throughout North America. Ari Erle has lived and made wine in both Napa Valley and Israel. He worked at several famous wineries in the Napa Valley, such as Colgin Estates, Clos Du Val and O'Shaughnessy Estate Winery. He is also very close to the Israeli Wine Industry and owns a home in Moshav Givat Nili, a picturesque town nestled among vineyards and rolling hills close to the beaches of Caesaria on the Mediterranean coast. Ari is a winemaker with extensive experience in Napa Valley California and a wide knowledge of Israeli wines.

Ari’s dream is to bring the best of Israel's Boutique Wineries to wider audiences in North America. Ari visits all of the Israel Wine Company wineries and develops personal relationships with the winemakers. The Israel Wine Company is far more than a wine store – it is Ari’s way of connecting you with the pioneers of the Israeli wine industry.

How are the Israel Wine Company wines chosen? Ari searches for the best bottles in Israel by visiting wineries. Once a wine is chosen, Ari conducts a blind tasting against Napa Valley wines with a panel of Napa Valley Winemakers with very experienced palates. If Ari and the panel choose the Israeli wine, it is then added to the Israel Wine Company list and their blind tasting notes are added to the description of the wine.
