Perched on the top of the Carmel Mountains, in the village of 'Kfar Tikvah' (hope), the Yitzchaki family makes excellent wine and also gives back to the community. The grapes for Tulip wines are sourced from the very best vineyards in Israel and are made into excellent wines by Tamir, the winemaker. It is not only the focus on quality that makes Tulip wines so great, but their philosophy of giving back to the community. Tulip Winery is actually located in an independent living village for autistic people. Most of their employees are from this village, giving them a chance to work and feel apart of this special project. Although the winemaker and assistant winemaker actually make the wine, the village residents 'help out' with everything from loading the crusher to bottling. While sipping on this excellent wine, you will be helping those in need as well...
