In the same valley that Samson made love to Delilah and the Philistines were conquered, vineyards are now planted that make deep, intense wines. The Soreq valley literally means 'valley of the choice vine' and truly is ideal for the best wine growing in Israel. Situated on the legs of the Judean hills at 700 meters above sea level, on the way down to the beach from Jerusalem, the vineyards are enshrouded in early morning fog and very cold nights. The soil is deep red and rocky, exhuberating 1000's of years of history and grape growing. Eran Pick, the winemaker at this mystical, boutique winery graduated from U.C. Davis with a degree in Viticulture and Enology. His passion for winemaking and dedication to detail is evident in every wine that is produced from each vineyard.
